Turkish Airlines has once again solidified its position as a global aviation leader by officially achieving the Guinness World Records™ title for the “Most Countries Flown to by an Airline”. The national flag carrier, which has held this distinction since 2012, now boasts an impressive 30-country lead over its closest competitor, marking this as a record that is both hard-earned and hard to break.

The Guinness World Records™ certificate was presented during a special ceremony at Santiago Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, following Turkish Airlines’ inaugural flight to Chile. The event was attended by Turkish Airlines executives and Guinness World Records™ officials, further emphasizing the airline’s commitment to global connectivity.

According to Guinness World Records™ evaluation criteria, Turkish Airlines set the record with flights to 120 countries, reflecting its active routes over the past 12 months. However, including temporarily suspended routes and the newly launched Chile route, the airline’s network now spans an unparalleled 131 countries, showcasing its exceptional reach and ambition.
