A group of Ride for Ceylon participants from the UK and Canada recently touched down in Colombo, having opted to fly SriLankan Airlines for the event, which takes places from 12th to 15th February 2025. The participants will cover 450 km across Colombo, Chilaw, Anuradhapura, Kilinochchi and Point Pedro, raising funds for the Green Memorial Hospital in Jaffna while increasing global awareness of Sri Lanka as a truly multifaceted destination, rich in nature, history and culture.
SriLankan Airlines has been at the forefront of cycling events over the years to promote Sri Lanka as a destination for adventure tourism, including professional and recreational cycling.
