Mount Lavinia Hotel hosted its second Slow Food event for the year; “Slow Food Slovenia by Chef Tatjana Butul” on 22nd February 2024 at the Horizon Rooftop. The event was graced by the Cuban Ambassador Mr. Andrés Marcelo González Garrido, the Honorary Consul General of Slovenia in Sri Lanka Mr. Sanath Ukwatte who is also the Chairman of Mount Lavinia Hotel Group, corporate leaders, and media partners. “Slow Food Slovenia” was a platform that spotlighted the Slovenian culinary delectations for both local and international patrons. The guests enjoyed this exclusive culinary offering from the Slovenian Chef’s hands accompanied by fresh-locally sourced ingredients.
The event showcased the culinary talents of Tatjana Butul while highlighting the cultural syncing between Slovenia and Sri Lanka.
